See, what you failed to grasp in your arrogance is that within my first post I indicated what exactly I don't care for within Harry's DVD column.  Your post was a feeble troll attempt and added 0 except to state the obvious.  Maybe that's all you are capable of is stating the obvious instead of adding any real insight.

This is none of my business.  But just as a tip, when trying to express how relaxed and un-enraged you are by a certain topic, make an effort to express it in, say, three sentences at the outside.  Anything more is counter-productive.  Rain Dog may be perverted gay anti-American terrorist (he could also just have a beard, sometimes its hard for me to tell), but he's succinct with his remarks, which gives off the impression of being calm.  More so than typing "I'm calm I'm so calm Jesus why can't you get it through your fucking skull that I'm calm" over and over, anyway.

On topic, I don't care for Harry Knowles.  Don't read him.

On a positive note, the back and forth between ChopTop and The Rain Dog is the most interesting thing involving Harry Knowles in years.

Sorry Schwartz, I took more of a point-counterpoint in addressing his posts.  I appreciate the feedback though and apologize if it came across angry.  I can only assure you that a random dude behind a keyboard some miles away isn't enough to inspire much more than typing (and sometimes not even that) from me.
 

Back on topic, I found Harry's love letter to Hugo interesting.  The movie?  Not so much, left after an hour.  I realize a movie is best judged as a whole, but on this night, that wasn't going to happen.  I think Harry can get WAY too enthusiastic with a movie and tends to forget about any shortcomings.

They used to have forums, they were almost hidden and no Talkbackers dared enter.  Honestly I don't think Harry even knew they existed.  We used to have a fantastic community of film fans there and some of the best film discussion I've ever taken part in.  Eventually they realized that forums existed, then realized that they didn't tie into the site so much, so they shuttered them completely with a plan to revamp them and bring them back.  Scattered that wonderful community completely.  It's how I ended up here.

Also as a totally independent 3rd party I have to say Choptop does come across as angry.  Intended or not it just feels like a LOT of effort to prove you don't care.

I visit AICN for Beaks and the Behind the Scenes Pick of the Day, but I'll scour something if it has an interesting title.

I'd say "sorry you feel that way", but to be honest, I'm not sure that would be true.  Typing really wasn't "a LOT of effort" nor was I trying to "prove" anything to anyone on this, an internet movie forum.  But thanks for taking the time to think about it and post your opinion.
