I really like the idea of a recurring DON'T CALL IT NOISE column. The scores for Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, TETSUO The Bullet Man and EVANGELION 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance would have made for great reading this year. The INCEPTION article certainly did.

The TRON Legacy score is really great and the Amazon Exclusive features Sea Of Simulation which is not included on any other format (yet?). The Social Network score features one of my favorite covers of the year. It doesn't get much better than Trent Reznor arranging a digital version of In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg. Classic.

Regarding the Amazon Tron Legacy soundtrack: Is the downloaded full version quality better than the samples provided?

DL versions are in the standard 256kbs/s you get with most services such as iTunes and the like.

Gah! I preordered the actual CD, and it's on its way. Curse Amazon and their lightning specials!

I think my days of buying CDs are coming to an end. Especially once I get an iPod or something similar with a lot more storage (my current 16 GB iPod is about 98% full).

Well, at least the non-UK bonus tracks are downloadable (without buying the album) via Amazon or Itunes.

With the UK's extra tracks added, they've put out about 80 minutes of music. Not bad.
