Hoping this movie puts The Boxman firmly back in the spotlight. We NEED big screen remakes of Bring 'Em Back Alive and/or Scarecrow and Mrs King.

(heh just kidding no we don't)

I can't get the Captain Sheridan of Babylon 5 cadence out of my head when I'm reading Boxleitner's answers.

Great interview, Dre.

I hope we can read some of that Matter of Life and Death discussion later on. I'm assuming the topic came up because both films depict a contrast between stylistically distinct worlds?

Here what happened, he was listing some of his favorite films, and A Matter of Life and Death came up, and it turned me into full-on Powell and Pressburger fanboy mode, so I told him I wanted to shake his hand for that, and I said that they are some of my favorite filmmakers, and then he started listing I Know Where I'm Going and The Red Shoes, and I threw out Black Narcissus and Peeping Tom, and he threw out some, and I threw out some, and then he talked about how obviously Powell was so influential on Scorsese, and I talked about TALES OF HOFFMAN being an influence on Ridley Scott for Blade Runner.

Basically speed dating geek ritualizing.
