This is one of only 2 video game franchises (Resident Evil being the other) where I will drop down the full $60 retail price. Anything else I can wait until it drops in price.

This is a great way to start the morning with the announcement for Uncharted 3. I'm looking forward to the Nate And Sully Of Arabia.

Against its overwhelmingly positive reception, I've never been too much of a fan of this franchise outside of its graphics technology. In the second one, I found the gameplay ridiculously half-assed, including the stealth. Its puzzles and set pieces were at the very least decent enough, though.

Good call. I respect David O Russell as a filmmaker and am intrigued by what he might come up with. But these games are already so good and better than a lot of genre films. So, I'd much prefer they leave it alone.

Among Thieves had such an epic scope because of the globetrotting aspect. But I'm not that concerned about them restricting it to one location again. Having just replayed the first one, I see that it's not a problem at all. And they certainly chose a very interesting locale rife with cinematic possibilities.

Thought there was a thread in the VG forum for this, but I couldn't find it. There's some new vids of actual gameplay from Uncharted 3.

Looks like more of the same from 2, just a bit more refined. The AK actually sounds a bit more like an AK now, and the animations on Drake are pretty cool. I like how you're able to fight more than one guy at a time, and taking their weapons from them is pretty damn sweet. Coolest new move has to be the ability to drop down on guys to take them out - hopefully that's incorporated in to multiplayer!
