I like Stevenson but he looks somehow wrong here. In fact the entire thing looks a bit off, judging from that trailer. I hope I'm wrong though.

Or even WAR ZONE KILL THE IRISHMAN. And damn, now I want a Punisher/Red Riding 1974 crossover.

Wanted to do one of those hilarious "holy shit, D'Onofrio is turning into..." posts, but I can't quite pinpoint who he's turning into. GW Bailey? Victor Argo? I got nothing.

Sorvino doesn't get billing? And Ray's hair looks ATROCIOUS. Looks a bit DTV, but I'll probably give it a shot.

I'm in. Look at that fuckin' supporting cast! Mike Starr is back baby!

High hopes. Stevenson deserves good things.

Love the cast, dig the feel, even dig the goofy hair.

I knew this had potential when Stevenson gets all wide-eyed and says "Irishman's in business for himself now!"
Hensleigh hasn't really shown me much as a director, but this looks like it could be fun.

I must second this! Stevenson is probably as deserving of A LIST status as anyone who has ever lived, and I hope this movie is enough to help him break out. WAR ZONE PUNISHER was good fun, but it didn't reach enough eyeballs to effectively clue the rest of the world in to Stevenson's incredible talents. I keep hoping that THREE MUSKETEERS will be the film that finally puts him over the top (given the fact he's playing one of the Musketeers!), but in the mean time it literally gives me the goosebumps to see his mustachioed mug up there on a one sheet knowing he's the lead

I don't like that poster at all (though Stevenson looks kind of hilarious on it ), and normally I'd make a bigger deal of that but in this case so desperately do I want the movie to succeed I'll just button my lips, cross my fingers and sacrifice six white doves to Forculus in hopes that this movie will get Pullo the kind of buzz he needs

XIIIth!

The Ron Burgundy thing that someone pointed out in the comment section killed me.

Indeed. Ray's a class act all the way. Can't help getting really excited by the thought of him in something like this, even if it does have that unmistakable D.T.V. disappointment whiff about it.

Still, if all else fails, at least this proves Our Ray would make a great Magnum, P.I. 2.0 (Son of Magnum, P.I.?)

Does anyone else think he has a drop of Ted "Bosko" Levine about him in that poster?

That poster irks me to no end. He looks so incredible in the trailer, I don't know why they gave him that hair for the ONE SHEET

Some cool stills I made from the trailer on my iPod Touch. The one with the bullet hole? Crop it to poster dimensions, slap on a title, DONE

"Don't talk of the XIIIth!"

PS Had a pretty good idea last night for a Stevenson vehicle I figured I'd share:

WAR ZONE PUNISHER

(before you ask, it's different)

Some civil wars are so brutal they break the back of a nation, and plunge it's populace into misery and dispair for decades. When a nation reaches this bloody stalemate, there is only one way to move forward: call in the War Zone Punisher. Stevenson would get dropped into hot zones like the Sudan and proceed to battle everyone on both sides of the conflict with such intense feroicity that they lose all taste for combat and the nation is healed. It would end with civil warriors surrendering to Stevenson, and after they lay down their arms people embrace and agree to forgive and forget as Stevenson walks off into the dusty sunset, headed to the next War Zone -- and his next mission!
