Sharlto stole the Hell out of that movie. Back when it was in production, I think it was Devin that wasted no opportunity to allude that Copley was blowing the gig and/or being some kind of prick on set, yet never elaborated. It always just seemed like kind of a smug way of saying, "I know stuff you guys don't know... behind the scenes stuff... seeeeeeecret stuff... nanny nanny boo boo!" Or maybe I don't know what the balls I'm talking about, which has happened once or twice.

No, you're right. That was a real catty article Devin wrote. Don't know what he was drinking that day.

I caught this on an airplane flight, and enjoyed it quite a bit. Sharlto was definitely a highlight by bringing a lot of crazy, unpredictable energy to the flick. He and Patrick Wilson definitely gave the "thank god they're back" performances.

I really thought it a shame when the A-Team movie lost the great character work about midway and went for the big crazy action. The first part had some great stunt scenes as well, but the focus remained front&center on the Team. Hope they'll fix that in an eventual sequel. It's also why the series worked so well at the time.

I've yet to see the first one, but I remember all too well Devin's concerns about Mr Sharlto. Essentially he said that he was not an actor, and the film's producers only realized that once he was on set and fa;ed to act convincingly

I'm not sure if Devin was being "catty" about it or not, or just passing on what information he could without burning his source. It's possible Devin's anecdote was accurate, and Sharlto simply improved the more time he was on set and the deeper into the shoot he got

Either way, I've heard good things about "A Team" (Which I delight in reading as "a team"), and I'm pretty excited to see it once the DVD hits RED BOX

Really good Renn.

I want that sequel, the film was enjoyable as hell.
