2011 - What games are you looking forward to? - Page 2

It gets me sick when I think about all the money that I'm going to be spending on games next year:

LittleBigPlanet 2
Killzone 3
Dragon Age 2
Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Bulletstorm
Uncharted 3
SOCOM 4
Mortal Kombat
Okamiden
Portal 2
Batman: Arkham City
L.A. Noire
Nintendo's 3DS

Totalling over a grand. And that's just what I have pre-ordered at Amazon so far (minus the 3DS) and not counting all of the downloadable titles.

Kind of curious how PS3's Sorcery is gonna turn out. Game looks pretty fun from what they've shown. I'll probably end up waiting for some reviews to hit on Nukem and Twisted Metal. And as much as I really liked the first two games, I'm not terribly excited about the sequels for Dead Space or Infamous.

Having watched the trailer for Uncharted 3, I got that tingly feeling usually reserved for Summer Blockbusters. The wait until November 11th of next year is going to be brutal.

Game trailers don't normally elicit that sort of response from me. The legendary first teaser for GTAIV being one notable exception.

Man, I guess I really love Uncharted.

With regards to LA Noire - I was looking forward to that when I thought it would be LA Confidential: The Game. Now that I've read up on it and learned that it will be very much an adventure game in the Sierra/LucasArts tradition (Think a really snazzy Police Quest), I'm even more excited about it.

I REALLY love the Uncharted series. It could potentially be the greatest video game trilogy of all time (or series, if they continue on). And the second I saw those 2 minutes of gameplay footage, man, you wouldn't have been able to remove the smile from my face if you kicked my teeth in.

And from the looks of it, there's gonna be a lot mor Sully. Always a great thing. Just hope they didn't break down and stuff in some lame co-op mode that people keep whining about wanting. I can definitely do without that. Just stick with another perfect single player story with some pretty great multiplayer.

So looking forwards to finding Atlantis with Drake next fall!

Well I hesitantly put LittleBigPlanet 2 in my list but it just bump up to the top after seeing all the games people in the beta have been making in it.

There's a few games I've been planning to do manually from scratch (well at least with a low level game library) but this looks like a great tool, for at the very minimum, prototyping game concepts.
