It's pretty good. Still like American Pickers (History Channel) better. Amazing the amount of junk out there that is actually worth something.

Yeah, but it's mostly worth something to other guys like the Pickers.

I've seen a ton of these the last few days during A&E's marathons (seasons 1 and 2). The only reason to watch this show is Barry. It's hard for one guy to carry a 1-hour show, but he carries these half hour shows. I would pay $$ to just hang out one day with him.

I watched all of Season 1 in a night while grading papers. It is very entertaining. I like the entire cast.

Though, the auctioneer, Dan Dotson, reminds me of Brendan Gleeson.

Why is every other reality show on History, A&E, TLC and the like about rednecks now? What started this craze?

Intervention on A&E isn't just rednecks, but I have seen an influx of rednecky-types on the channel.  A lot of the folks on Hoarders fit the bill.

My sister goes to university in Memphis and ran across the cops from the Memphis division of A&E's The First 48 by the Mississippi River a few months ago.  Looked like they were looking for clues pertaining to a crime, so she didn't want to bother them.
