Blu Ray Chapter Pop-Up Issue

I finally bought a blu (Toshiba for $50 on Black Friday at Best Buy) and on a couple flicks (I only have a few blu discs), the chapter stop pop-up comes up repeatedly at every break. Most recently on A-TEAM. Without any prompt by me via remote or otherwise.

Anyone else see this before? I've seen a few discussions online here and there after googling, but no definitive answers. A 20th Century Fox issue (most complaints I saw were for AVATAR... and A-TEAM is also Fox)? A firm-ware issue in the player?

I've never seen it before, but from a quick googling, it seems like it may have something to do with the special DRM that Fox used on Avatar (and may have also used on A-Team). Certain blu-rays do start with a disclaimer saying that certain players may not play the disc properly without the proper firmware.

Do you have the ability to upgrade the firmware in your player?
