Great TIME-ing! I just watched this on Netflix Instant based on the premise alone and was pretty impressed with it. My reaction was about the same as yours. It doesn't waste the sci-fi premise, nor does it get bogged down by it. It stays watchable without insulting the intelligence and by the end, I actually wasn't completely sure how it would all work out. Pretty impressive for a romantic comedy.

EDIT: Emma Caulfield and Leslie Bibb might as well be twin sisters... with Leslie Mann as their older sister.
