2011 - What films are you looking forward to?

Thread Starter
Here is a list of the films that get me excited.
(in no specific order):
1. The Ward - John Carpenters first film in 10 years.
2. Conan - I am a bit disappointed that Ah-nuld is not in it.
3. The Thing - A remake of the remake.
4. Adjustment Bureau - Most Philip K Dick adaptations tend to be braindead actionmovies(like Paycheck). But Matt Damon is in this and he seldomly makes bad films.
5. Rise of the Apes - Cgi monkeys instead of actors in monkey costumes. Hmmmmm?
6. Paul - The trailer is pretty bad. This looks so different to Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead.
7. Source Code - The director of Moon made this one, thats enough to put me in the seat.

What films are on YOUR list? Let us know.

Tree of Life. The rest I won't know until Sundance, most likely.

I feel like I'm hyper aware of the big summer fare, but ignorant of what, if anything, the auteur directors are up to. So I guess split the difference, and say Hugo Cabret.

Tree of Life for me as well. Far and away my most anticipated movie.

I'll also be really excited if Captain America is good.
Honestly . . . the new Muppet movie.

After that: Your Highness, Cowboys & Aliens, Sucker Punch, last Harry Potter, The Way Back, Source Code, Tintin, War Horse

Potential: Captain America, Pirates 4, Fright Night redo,

If the new Whit Stillman is slated for 2011, then put that near the top.
Is Gravity 2011 or 2012?
Ratty, the Stillman flick quietly wrapped production a month or so ago, so a 2011 release doesn't seem too far off. To which I say, "yes, that is my most anticipated movie of 2011. Because FUCKING FINALLY."

That being said, my second-most anticipated release of 2011 is The Roommate for several reasons. First, I want to see if it is in fact possible for a movie to convince me that Blair Waldorf would be jealous of Lyla Garrity, and second, Blair Waldorf fucking sets a dude on fire. That gets my hard-earned NYC theater ticket money.

I'm on board for all the superhero flicks (though I have many reservations about THOR). Since I loved the last one so much, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE is high on my list too. My love of the Carpenter remake make me hopeful for THE THING. In all honesty, I think my biggest movie for 2011 is probably SUPER 8.

I feel like the only one who can't muster any enthusiasm about SUCKER PUNCH.

All the superhero flicks and Harry Potter immediately spring to mind. This Summer looks to blow 2010's Summer away. I'm heading to my first Sundance next week. Lots o' interesting stuff playing there.
