Yeah, I did check up IMDB before posting, but hardly thought those were entries on a career that was still booming the way it was when she got out of The OC and appeared in stuff like The Last Kiss and Jumper.

Wasn't Winona Ryder THE indie girl of the 90's? As I remember, Chloe hit it off with Boys Don't Cry at the tail end of the decade.

She's always had this "not quite but pretty much a spitting image of Helen Hunt" thing going on that I find outrageously sexy. Then again, I've got a weakness for blondes sporting wit and a rough side.

EDIT: Scratch all this, I was thinking of Leelee Sobieski. Still, I'll go for either.

No, but she's better than some actresses who get cast purely on her looks. Also, Bell's post-Mars career hasn't exactly been stretching her acting abilities.

I guess "Reality Bites" defined Winona in the early 90's, but she will always be known for her 80's work to me ("Heathers", "Beetlejuice"). Chloe burst on the scene with "Kids" in 1995 and dominated the late-90's indie scene.

Remember when Chloe made some critical comments about Big Love a while back? Well now the Big Love producers in an interview with Michael Ausiello are saying that when Chloe made those disparaging remarks to the AVCLUB she was under the influence at a party. This is already after she had blamed the journalist (And being tired at a press junket) for what she had said with no mention of parties or booze. 

 

It's pretty crappy of Ausiello not to press the issue with the creators some more. They and Ausiello know full well that she wasn't drunk or tired when she made her comments, she was frustrated with how the show had been handled. I don't know why it's so difficult for them to just admit that. She wasn't being a bitch about it like Katherine Heigl was when she made her Grey's Anatomy comments, she just aired some concerns that a lot of fans of the show also had. 

 

Anyway, AVCLUB also issued a rebuttal, along with the link to the original audio from the interview.
