I felt so sad when Meg Foster died. She made it so easy for me to fool myself into thinking that I was watching Charlotte Rampling.

This is a beloved movie in my household; saw it when I was about ten years old and loved it, nice to see a warmer side to Hauer and the end death was a f yeah moment (crazy how similar the Darth Maul death is in SW:PM).

HBO used to play this movie heavily back in the 90s. I watched it and enjoyed it whenever I could. GREAT fun. You have to love the scene where he's actually driving the van.

ARE YOU BLIND???
Actually, yeah.

HOLY CRAP. No one I know EVER talks about this movie. I love it. It was (embarassingly) my first exposure to the blind samurai trope. Yes, I know.

And I love this movie even though it makes absolutely no sense, and even with the end featuring Bruce Lee's brother (huh?) with a samurai sword (lolwut).

I have always enjoyed the shit out of this movie. When my folks got HBO back in the mid-90s this was the first movie I ever watched on it. It is a fun movie and the last big fight is actually pretty well put together.

That fight with Sho Kusugi was awesome. A really entertaining film.

This and SPLIT SECOND should be a Double Bill.
