I wanna see this. There's a good chance that this film could make a great double-feature with Empire of the Sun. Father Bale is the hook of the day.

Kind of sounds exactly like 'The Children of Huang Shi' with Jonathan Reese Meyers and CYF, but if this leads to a team up of Bale and CYF? It will have been worth it. I am no fan of the China's government and propaganda machine, but this sounds like a story worth telling. I have enormous respect for their struggles against the Japanese, and this sounds like Bale returning to the fray to get his revenge after the events of EMPIRE OF THE SUN. Watch out, Japan! He's had ninja training in the intervening years
