I saw this during the AMC First Look when I went to see True Grit, and for a while I though that WAS Christian Bale.

I just hope this doesn't spend an interminable amount of time trying to have us get to know all these very interesting people* when all we want to see is alien carnage.

*Because judging by the track record of these kinds of projects, they won't be very interesting at all.

What's up New Caprica? How you doing? Looking mighty action packed, nice to see you keeping the same themes, though. Hey, are you going to have suicide bombers or are you going for rah-rah resistance light this time through?

Looks like fun. Is this a special tv event series like Taken, where it's one and done, or will they drag this out for eternity when the premiere takes in 5.8 million viewers despite the stupid decisions all the characters make?

ETA: can't wait for the tag team reviews!

I actually like Wyle, and he looks fine in this. All those clips with The Gruff General look really horrible, though.

I watched 11 of the 12 hours of Taken (it was 12 hours, right?), and then had no interest in watching the ending. I also can only remember that it had Catherine Dent and Anton Yelchin in it. And I'm the guy that enjoys V, so that's truly saying something.

Maybe if Adrian Paul sends his agent a nice fruit basket he can get a part.

With that said, it looks more epic than I would have otherwise imagined for TV.
