Glad to see Alice on there. It's a really bad movie. Good list all around.

Now here's a list I can get behind!

I don't know if NOEM 2010 is technically the worst big studio film this year, but it squanders the most potential for sure. I support its position in this list.

Now here's the fun part. We get Rene (Mr. Eko) to watch them all and see how many he doesn't like. I'm gonna say 2, maybe 3, tops.

Good list, but I think the Expendables is too endearing to be included in such company. Sure the script is a mess and the dialogue is painful, but somehow on the strength of everyone having fun and going all out, its impossible to hate. As Sam Strange pointed out in the B-thread, mickey Roarke's monologue/soliloquy has to be one of the highlights of the year. Few action movies paid off as effectively as this movie's big finale.

Agreed on every single point and film, except Jackie Haleys Freddy. The script lets him down, but all the tiny personal stamps he put on that character--my favorite being the little fluttery thing he does with the claws on his index and middle fingers--worked for me.

Im also really glad Iron Man 2 didnt make it. In a lesser year, that thing may have cracked my top 10.

Yikes, I'd completely forgotten (i.e. repressed) Clash of the Titans. It may be comparing different bites of a rotten apple, but I'd say that's neck and neck with Tron for most boring/nonsensical action film of the year, and without the pretty visuals to back it up. I saw it at the dollar movies and still felt ripped off.

Glad I managed to miss many of these. I must say that any Worst list is incomplete without Dinner For Schmucks and Morning Glory.

Not to mention Extraodinary Measures.

Great list. I'm glad I've only seen two of them.

I realise this isn't the most ringing endorsement for a film, but I've just staggered in drunk and watched Nightmare On Elm Street again, and enjoyed it even more the second time. Sure, it mis-steps here and there, but for a dirty, nasty Freddy flick it ticks most of the right boxes. I don't understand people criticising the lack of imagination in the dreams- nasty guy with knives for fingers chases people. Done. Do we really want the more whacked-out dreams from NOES5 or Freddy's Dead? I just hope we actually get a sequel, and that Mr Earl Haley comes back to play again. Drunken rant over- happy new year!

I liked both The Expendables and Tron Legacy, but then again I never claimed to have great taste.

I wouldn't stack Bridges acting (sorta) like The Dude as a positive in Tron. If anything, it bothered me what a lazy choice it was.

I'm kind of pleased that I've not seen any of these. I caught about five minutes of the end of Alice in Wonderland at a party last night and that was just wretched.

I should probably get around to watching The Expendables at some point, but I Sebastian OB'd the film due to its fanbase.

Good stuff.

I didn't see a single film on this list.

Alice in Wonderland was sooooooo fucking bad. Even worse in IMAX. Nothing worse than being fully immersed in utter shit.

Kirby is lucky.

At first I was thinking that I couldn't say anything because I hadn't seen a single film on the list, then hours after reading it, I suddenly remembered that I had seen Paranormal Activity 2. My memory is increasingly shitty these days, but I'm confident that film just sort of sliding out of my mind has more to do with it than me. As a "funhouse" horror film, it's okay I guess, but there's practically nothing engaging about the storytelling at all.
