Unlikely, but dig this adorable picture.

The funny part is that upon first glance I thought it was an early look at some new art that you and Andrea were working on, Nick.

It's Kiss Me Deadly. It would be really awesome if it was Pulp Fiction, but those rights are going to be screwed up for a bit due to the Miramax sale.

Let's take a stab at the others:

Floating globe -- The Great Dictator
Women hiking her leg --- Bitter Rice

Give me a bit and I'll try to take another stab.

Steak knife in coffee cup -- Glengarry Glen Ross
Man in drag tied to boat -- Some Like It Hot
Space Station --- Solaris
Calendar --- Sunday Bloody Sunday
Marilyn Monroe with Einstein face --- Insignificance
Kid with Pillow --- Zero for Conduct

I wish! Seems more like White Material.

I thought it might be White Material, but I didn't know that Criterion got the rights to it. Plus, the more I think about it...isn't Glen Ross a Studio Canal title? I seem to believe that Studio Canal bought the rights during the Artisan collapse.

I live for the day that Criterion releases a Corman Poe anthology set. But that's probably just a pipe dream.

Anyway, I'm excited by the promise of some these sets. KISS ME DEADLY? INSIGNIFICANCE? Yes please. And I'm eager to revisit Soderbergh's SOLARIS, too.

I'm pretty sure part of the Weinstein deal they just made with the new owners of Miramax include them distributing the Miramax library on blu-ray. No way they're going to let Pulp Fiction go.

The motherfuckers need to release Sorcerer.

Might be a Blu upgrade. Apparently, the man in the water is a reference to Diabloque getting an upgrade to Blu.

Man in drag tied to the boat is Polanski's Cul-De-Sac.

The man in water looks like Spaulding Gray on the cover of SWIMMING TO CAMBODIA.

The old SE of Glenn Gary Glenn Ross will be pretty hard to top. I await it with baited breath.

Ah good point. In that case we can probably also expect WILD STRAWBERRIES on Blu. Though that was probably obvious enough to not need pointing out.

Nope. Word on the street is that it's Soderbergh's SOLARIS, which has been rumored for a bit now.

That's exactly what I'm hoping for.

Really? I haven't seen it yet (so feel free to dismiss anything I say), but wasn't that met with a little bit of disdain? Strictly from (what I seem to remember being) the word of mouth it's surprising to hear that it's been bandied about for Criterion release.

Yeah, talk of that is surprising to me, also. I've seen both versions, and they're both great at what each sets out to accomplish, but to think that Criterion would have the original film and its remake in its collection is strange. Plus the fact that the original DVD has a fantastic Soderbergh/James Cameron audio commentary that would be hard to beat.
