I Facebook connected and it now shows my FB profile as my avatar. Now everyone can see me stupid dance faces!

 

Where/how will the blog center be? And can we make wiki pages for any movie, or just archival? How much editorial wit is to be allowed in them?

Nick, great work on the NEW CHUD!:) Can't wait to take it for a spin and check out all the new features. The main page alone will take alot of getting used to, but it seems like a fairly clean layout and you must no doubt be proud of your work. Thanks for all the great stuff you and the CHUD TEAM do, and I hope the NEW CHUD makes it even easier for you to do it

 

Questions: what is going on with sigs? Can we no longer use different fonts and font sizes? I can't help but feel a bit deflated to see that mine doesn't look the same

 

Are emoticons no longer automatically being turned into smiley faces? (example: :) :( ;) )

Experiment with your profile pages. And if I could, I would disable emoticons across the universe.

Signatures are currently limited to bold, italics, and hyperlinks.

 

ALSO, by "Facebook Connecting" the platform will automatically apply your current profile picture on FB to your message board profile. You can then replace it with whatever you choose in your profile editor (top right). Seems to be a one-time automated port of the picture.

Sorry to hear that about the sigs. Perhaps formatting restrictions can be reconsidered at a later time

 

BTW, here is a weird issue: When I try to right click my text as I compose it, it kicks up a "cut  / paste" window, instead of letting my browser do a word replacement thing. I don't like the built in spell check option, I like to be able to just click the red underlined words as I type them. Can this be fixed?

 Thumbs up, and agreed. I'll play with it for awhile until I make any kind of judgment, but it sure is pretty. One thing I can point out right now as I write this: the quoted message inside the reply box is completely white, and I can barely read what it says.
