Exactly, Z. Back before the NEW RULES were implemented, I'd often post up a 'face palm' image as a kind of emotional short hand to give people some insight into my reaction to a given post. A face palm image is meant to convey annoyance or exasperation. There a many different examples available, but I always stuck with the POLAR BEAR FACE PALM because it was my favorite*. Then Devin enacted the NEW RULES, and all face palm images were banned. Even though it seems the NEW RULES no longer are in effect, I have resisted posting up a PBFP since that time and instead type out "polar bear face palm" to let people know that this is the kind of post I would use one to reply with if we were allowed to do so
I am not an expert in ursine affairs, so I can't really speak to the issue of whether or not they have palms. For the record, I think they have paws. However, the specific anatomy of the animal is not important, it's the gesture that counts
