8 MILE HARDER?

Eminem may return to your multiplex.

It still surprises me to this day that 8 Mile didn't turn out to be a festering pile of shit a la Get Rich or Die Tryin'. Sure, it's Rocky with rapping, but Hanson and crew imbued it with a deft charm and vigor that makes it work despite the cliches. It's not a surprise that Scott Silver (the screenwriter) also wrote The Fighter as well. I don't expect this new movie to be very good, but hopefully it turns out well.

I never saw 8 Mile, but I walked into a theater that was showing it right as the end credits hit, and it was my second time ever smoking a marijuana cigarette. The final song awed me and blew my mind, and I am a big fan of LOSE YOURSELF for life

I like M&M, though some of his stuff with his ex disturbs me. I've heard good things about 8 MILE though, and it remains a film I intend to see someday. Hope his next movie is as successful

By the way, as far as that soundtrack goes? Run Rabbit Run > Lose Yourself

Isn't Random Acts of Violence the movie loosely based on Grand Theft Auto? Because I'm on board for that.

I've read this elsewhere, and no.
