Damon is happy for the Coens, and that someone made a sequel to THE WICKER MAN (sorta).

The per screen and total numbers are totally off the layout.

Anyone else surprised by the lack of success of 127 hrs? Given how great most of the big indie releases are doing.

I'm very shocked how far from the conversation 127 has fallen. It's such a shame that Boyle's film, which is twice the film Slumdog is, is getting half of the attention.

127 Hours didn't become a conversation piece, and it may be too experimental (a dude trapped for a couple of hours or so) for the mainstream. Black Swan may be weird, but it also has Natalie Portman masturbating.

With hindsight Boyle must regret not giving the scene where Franco watches his video of Kate Mara the happy ending it deserved.
