Help save a Independent bookstore

It was announced today that L.A.'s The Mystery Bookstore will be closing on January 31st.

 

This should not be.

 

Without independent bookstores, many writers wouldn't have a career without their help and support.

 

Please post this article by author Lisa Lutz, who practically began her career by signing there, on your Twitter, Facebook, wherever.

Ah, that sucks.  Swung by there some years ago.  IIRC I picked up a signed 1st edition by Roderick Thorp.  It sounds like a done deal, I wonder if there is any chance they could move to a more affordable location.

They need to move to the west end of the Valley where there is a dearth of used book stores.
