Should be required watching for anyone looking to make a scary film/TV show in the near future. Economic, lowkey, and at several points bloody terrifying. Having John Hurt in the lead helps, of course.

Sadly I will have to wait for this to get a DVD release. Sounds like it's a decent adaption though, so that's good. The old Jonathan Miller version with Michael Hordern is a classic.

Yes, hopefully won't be too long before we see a home release. The original short story's arguably the peak of classic horror literature, so good to hear it's been adapted well.
