Oh, I really lke that pitch.  While reading it, I was reminded of the Incarnations of Immortality series by Piers Anthony a little.

Hm. I was reminded of Pratchett & Gaiman's GOOD OMENS (but this time the Horseman are the good guys), and with more of a epic Marvel Universe spin on it instead of GOOD OMENS' bureacratic take.
