Having college freshmen talk about The Simpsons as if they were brand new, never-before-seen by man was my first experience with this, I think.
And then my last year of college when I was registering students, and could remember the years on their driver's license. "Oh. 1990."
Oddly, none of the young brats knew how to work a computer very well. They should have been better than I was since I did live a good part of my childhood without one. So after walking them through class registration, I ended up feeling younger, like I'd tutored retirees. (I still wonder if that was just an isolated bunch of idiots or if upcoming generations can really only sync ipods, not actually scroll down through a class list....)
