WERNER HERZOG’S CAVE OF FORGOTTEN DREAMS GETS A TRAILER

Wow. I actually got goosebumps watching this. I MUST watch it in a theater.

I'll echo everything Stelios just said.  I'm tempted to go to my nearest Imax 3D cinema and hold it hostage till they agree to show it. Just breathtaking.

Anyone got a better link to the trailer? Higher def and one where there isn't a link covering the top and where the audio doesn't cut out half way through? Unless that's just me.

Looks fascinating though to say the least.

This was an odd movie, even given Herzog's body of work. At one point, he's interviewing somenoe about the philosophical dimensions of the cave and becomes fascinated and sidetracked by the interview subject's circus past. There's a lot of great supporting "characters" in this, from the world's leading perfume manufacturer to some sort of caveologist who re-enacts how people lived in the early days of recorded history. The 3D isn't showy, it's rather immersive and cool, but this is more cerebral than exciting or awe-inspiring. 

This sells me on the film nearly as much as the trailer, although it seems that watching a cave in 3D would be almost unbearably dark.
