Bump. Getting ready for the hate.

Red Carpet just about empty.

January Jones giving us Emma Frost preview.

Saddest part to me was Ryan Gosling having to introduce his director to Ryan Seacrest.

My ipad hates the CHUD boards. In other news-- can I marry Ricky Gervais?

Ricky Gervais went there.  Again and again.

Batman, Hawkeye, and Spider-Man, with the Black Widow presenting.

Bale deservedly takes it. Nice!

Ricky Gervais was brilliant. Jesus that was awesome.

Daredevil might be there too.  Thor is there too.  & Iron Man

Katey Sagal! Fuck yes!

Katy Sagal is fantastic on Sons of Anarchy.

Uh, what?? What the fuck is Carlos?!?

The Pacific got robbed. Shat upon

SoA sucked this year though.

People actually watch this shit? I'd rather see Gary Coleman's corpse be anally raped with a dead baby.

I'm a little behind Catching up on my DVR, but I love that Gervais isn't afraid to make fun of actors to their faces. And Christian Bale is unbelievable weird. He spent his whole speech giving backhanded compliments. "When I play those roles, I never got noticed. But good for you, Mark!" So F'd up.

Wow, Gervais is out for fucking blood tonight.

Nick makes fun of Glee yet watches Hawaii 5-0 and the cow killing movie.  Odd viewing choices.

I gave up watching TV back in 2002 and I'm a better person for it. If I hear of a good show, I rent or download it. Why pollute your brain with that trash when I could be watching Water Power or Goodbye Uncle Tom?

Boardwalk wins deservedly...Buscemi not so much, in my eyes.  Hamm or Cranston are wayyyyy better.

I didn't think he deserved it over Cranston or Hamm, but it was a good speech by Buscemi.

I see nick thought what I do: Red Electroids Run the Golden Globes! Someone call Buckaroo.

Then why are you still watching the show/in this thread?

I've seen two 5.0 eps and Caan was stellar. i don't know what Cow Killing movie is. Oh, Grandin. It was good!

Buscemi is a classy guy.

Hawaii 5-0 is just another procedual.  Nothing special.  They can be fun shows but nothing award worthy.

Caan steals Hawaii 5-0 every week and does great work on there.

Exactly. What Caan's doing is very hard.

Social Network score is great. Really, I love that one, Inception, and Tron: Legacy score. Be happy with any of those three scores winning anything.

I'm just following the coverage, not actually watching it. I'm amazed that they had such a strong line up of movies for Best Picture. I'm going to make Oscar predictions right now.....

Best Picture, The Social Network

Best Director, Darren Aronofsky - Black Swan

Best Actor, James Franco - 127 Hours

Best Actress, Natalie Portman - Black Swan

Best Supporting Actor, Christian Bale - The Fighter

Best Supporting Actress, Helena Bonham Carter - The King's Speech

Hugh Laurie is great on House but I wouldn't want him to win and Nick would have jacked off on everyone's carpet if he did.  I just don't he's anything to get excited over.

So is Hulk ;)

RDJ was fantastic.

When did Nick say anything about Hugh Laurie?

RDJ did a great job!

RDJ is awesome!

Robert Downey Jr could switch out with Gervais to host this show.

Tilda Swinton is reading these titles like a female John Houseman. Love it.

Tropic Thunder was wrong. I guess going "full retard" can get you awards!

Not ashamed to admit that I only watch the GGs for the clothes.  Natalie Portman and Emma Stone are the best-dressed ladies I've seen so far.  Andrew Garfield looks great in his tux.  Bonham-Cater is wearing two different shoes.

I heart Tina Fey. Did they have her present to Sorkin as a cruel joke that his show failed? I liked Aaron Sorkin's message in his speech, but he came off as a condescending prick. Jane Lynch's speech was really funny.

I would assume he is.  Though I wish you didn't remind me of his god awful show.

The chesty Danish dame is Danish director Susanne Bier, who also helmed Brothers, the award-winning 2004 film remade in 2009 under the same title and starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Tobey Maguire.

Why do shows keep on nominating Jim Parsons and The Big Bang Theory?  Fucking useless show.

Fuck The Big Bang Theory. I don't get the appeal. At. All.

Det. Kay Howard FTW!

I think that woman presenting best TV actor in a comedy goofed, mixed two of the nominees' names and said Jim Morrison. For a second, I thought the Lizard King had risen.

Melissa Leo should have been nominated for Treme.

Wasn't that girl in the show with him?

She is Kaley Cuoco, and she is on the show with him, which explains her giddy bouncing when he won.

Damon's Fredo was pretty funny.

De Niro must be prepping for a King of Comedy sequel.
