Damon asks "where is my mind?"

Never been able to put my finger on why I don't like this one. But I don't. There isn't anything that grosses me out or offends me. It's just one that I saw once and never had the desire to see again.

So I guess I'm one of the "oh..." guys.

Definitely my favorite comedy of recent years. Nasty, mean and unapologetic. Rogen channels Danny McBride perfectly and Farris is the perfect, as Louis C.K. calls them, "hot girl at the bar."

Edit: type 'perfect' again, asshole...

This is simply a great movie, the perfect blend of hysterical comedy while tackling many challenging issues in an artistic way. Jody Hill created a masterpiece here, and Seth Rogen gave a performance that dwarfs all of his other work. I love this movie.

Never got the love for this film.  Wasn't interesting to me in anyway.  I can usually appreciate a good film even if I didn't enjoy it, but I couldn't  find anything to appreciate.  The direction was lackluster, the script was a mix-mash of genres that never quite gelled together, and the cinematography was basic point-and-shoot.  But hey, it takes all kinds.

Any movie that has somebody take on a bunch of cops with just a big flash light while Queen's The Hero's plays is a great flick.

I don't agree with those thinking that his surprising competence at violence was a figment of his imagination. He really could do these things. The fact he really was a dangerous, violent psychopath and not some pathetic dork with an overactive imagination really made the movie work for me. I was OK with it up to the point of the drug dealer beat down. But when it happened my interest immediately shot up. I felt that the movie could go in some pretty interesting places and it did.

Loved this movie but really didn't like the ending. I felt that while it was going for a Taxi Driver ending, it hadn't built the same situation.

In Taxi Driver, Travis is hailed as a hero because all the people know is that Travis' rampage is, while not accidental, not nearly as planned as the people who champion his 'taking down of the bad element' would like to believe.

In this, Ronnie already has a history of mental issues, and chases down and shoots the Flasher in full view of many people. Yet he is also celebrated as a 'hero of the people'. Shooting and unarmed naked guy in full view of people is not nearly the same as 'saving' the world by taking out the worst scum.

I think (and this is IMHO) that this would have been a lot better if there was a cross cut of some sort showing ronnies mental state (the ending we got, with the celebration and his getting the girl and his job) with the reality of the situation, where shooting the flasher snaps his attachment with reality and he ends up in some rubber room or mental ward all drugged up.

The shooting of the flasher is one of the best movie moments of the last decade. You're expecting Ronnie to tackle him, and then he shoots him. Brilliant.

After recently re-watching The Shield, and seeing Michael Pena on there, it's amazing how much of a chameleon he can be.

I remember liking this film when I saw it, but I'm hard pressed to remember any details outside of what was shown in the trailer.

Yeah, it's basically Violent Napolean Dynamite. Basically. I love it too.

Loved this one. Goes to places you'd never expect. Great character interaction on all fronts. Funny as hell. The Pixies cue also has to be a comment on post-FIGHT CLUB frat buffoonery/misreading. It has to be.
