So . . . Mama's Funny Games?     This is a remake in name only at best.   Which is fine, because I kind of hate the original. 

 

De Mornay is still looking good and at least seems to be giving a relatively restrained performance.

While I like restrained, cold De Mornay in that trailer, personally I'm hoping she has a crazy feral sister who jumps out the bushes at the end. Yeah, kind of love the original.

 

And poor Shawn Ashmore. First it's carnivorous vines, then it's freezing his ass off and snowboarding for his life while chased by hastily convened Three Wolf Moon reunion, now he has to deal with a family of sadistic home invaders. Just can't catch a break.
