More movies need a bait and switch like this. I'd totally be there. But you have to keep the cause of Space Madness as vague as possible.
 
On another note, the podcast Jordan Jesse Go had a lengthy discussion about Sci-Fi original movies like Sharktopus and Mega Piranha, and encouraged their listeners to call in their own pitches for similar kind of films. I can't think of any as good as what's been up on CHUD.
