I think people are way too focused on the sexual elements of Catwoman.  It seems more likely to me, especially with this casting, that Nolan would be going with the 'fun' for lack of a better term.  Selina Kyle finds the costume (and the burglary) completely liberating and exhilarating.  It's something she does to escape from the prison that she feels her heiress lifestyle is.  That's the stronger contrast between Catwoman and Batman in the Nolanverse, where Bruce Wayne feels that being Batman is this burden that he has to bear for the good of the people of Gotham City. 

I, for one, can't wait to hear Michael Caine's Alfred produce more 10 minute speeches outlining obvious plot and thematic elements!

Have to agree there. If Alfred was young and fit enough to put on the cape, shit would go down in Gotham without a hitch.
