I couldn't resist quoting you, Stelios. That description has stuck in my mind.  I see Shannon, I think of stuffed corpses.

Poor guy. He probably likes walks on the beach and puppies.

It's all the heavy metal and horror movies. They warped my poor young mind.

Nice to see Shannon getting noticed. Even typecast as a creep, he deserves more work. And for more equally weird but in a whole other way Shannon, check out his role as the manager of The Runaways in Cherry Bomb. 

Michael Shannon needs to play Dick Tracy. I mean, LOOK at that jawline and the "not fucking around" stare. At the very least, stick him in a noir as a hardboiled cop that won't crack no matter how many times that corrupt politician takes a silver spoon to him.

I am an adament supporter of Shannon getting more work, but mainly because I don't want him to put his fist in my gut. Literally.
