Perfect Couples

Awful pilot.  It seemed like every character was on a different show, each of which I wouldn't watch.

Ellis, however, is great on It's Always Sunny.

I only watched the end of it, but it seemed so bizarre. I couldn't see how any of these people are friends.

Yeah, but seeing The Waitress finally get her own show is going to be one of the reasons I might continue watching this one (apart from the always-reliable Bornheimer).

That said, I think I read somewhere that the episode that NBC aired last night was actually the fourth episode produced, or something -- it almost makes you quiver in dread over eventually seeing the pilot. Still, I somehow enjoyed this one more than Outsourced's entire run to date, so I'll be giving it one more shot next week.

Double-post. Bah.

Even some critics aren't sure which one is the pilot, which doesn't bode well.  Given it's caught between Community and The Office, I'll give it another shot, but I feel like the interesting part of the show will be to see the ratings fluxuations of the other shows.

Oh God, why can't they just pair this with Outsourced at 10:00 so we can have an all killer, no filler two hour block from 8-10?

And the worst part of the show is that I KNOW that some of those actors can be funny;  the waitress from Sunny has the ability, Munn is funny on talk shows and two of those guys were the only things that were (really)funny in She's Out Of My League.

It's nice that NBC is giving us 30 minutes to eat and have sex between Community and The Office and then making sure we go to sleep at 10:30. They care so much about our well being.

I made it twenty seconds into the episode before turning it off in disgust. That's ten seconds longer than I lasted with the Outsourced pilot, but only because I wanted to make sure Munn was really in it.

That good, huh?

I like the guy from Worst Week, but I also only made it through the first few minutes. Munn's perfect couple stuff was awful. Still, maybe it'll turn into something. There's some talent in the cast.
