David caught a space case of it.

The only thing I like about this movie is its suitably moody score by Michl Britsch, especially the end credits track.

the movie is indeed bad but there's something compulsively watchable about it. the opening scenes generate a pretty effective mood of uneasy dread, but the more you find out the less interesting it gets. Also the action scenes are really silly, and with the exception of one kill not very imaginative.

Quaid and Foster do a good job with the material though. The movie is only halfway watchable due to their performances and the set design. If you're looking for a guilty pleasure you could do far worse.

It was a chore to set through in the theaters. It plays at least once a day on one of the Starz channels, and I watch a little here and there to admire the great set design.

It's certainly "Doomsday" in nature, but Doomsday was a lot of fun. Pandorum is just a slog.

It's basically Dead Space: The Movie, so I cannot dislike it even though rationally I know it's a bit shit. Also Antje Traue is distractingly gorgeous in this, and needs to be in more movies.

If any film squanders its pieces its this one. The thing that is boggling about this movie is that it doesn't commit to being anything. Its a horrible mish mash that thinks its cool, daring and interesting and it isn't any of those things. Unsatisfying is the word that comes to mind and I have a hard time grasping how you fumble this ball but whatever there you go.

This along with Event Horizon are two films that, despite not being objectively horrible, I hate because of the cool ideas they ended up wasting.

Did you guess that final twist at the end? Just curious.

In Pandorum? No.

I didn't quite hate it for my part. The idea that the ship

was underwater

seemed like a clever idea to me. I did suspect that Dennis Quaid thing though.
