I was very excited to see the American Reunion movie. I saw American Pie just after college and remembered it was quite funny. Jim, Michelle, Oz, Heather, Stifler reunite for their high school...

I was a much bigger SSX3 fan, but that series could do no wrong for those first few games. Unfortunately I had Tricky on the Gamecube and it was a slightly botched port(weaker animations mostly, as I recall). It seems like Tricky grabbed you the same way GTAIII grabbed me, which is kind of funny considering one of them plays like ass today* and the other one is still pretty damn fun.
*GTAIII is still decent when you're in a car, or exploring on-foot, but if you have to shoot anyone, holy hell.

I don't even know if I was aware that there WERE any other SSX Games until On Tour came out, and I didn't like that at all. And I get the GTA Chronlogy mixed up - did 3 come out before or after VC? Or...didn't they put out a boxed set of the two of them or something at one point?

Ditto on SSX3. We would spend countless hours just passing the controller around trying to see who could get the craziest combos. How the hell has EA not done a followup for 360/PS3?! Multiplayer races and competions on the ridiculous half-pipes (especially if you could do co-op tricks) would easily be worth $60 alone...

III -> Vice -> San Andreas
The XBox Collection came out with the two of them, probably where you're getting mixed up.

My girlfriend got me into Tricky on her PS2 (at that time I was only rocking a Gamecube). Loved it. Biggest disappointment was when I got a PS3 and Tricky was supposed to be one of the few back-compatible games that worked... but it didn't. Well, it worked, but only if you didn't want to do any tricks. Duh. I even tried buying the Greatest Hits version, but no go- it crashes as soon as the loading for Snowdream finishes. Boo.
But after reading this article I decided to try the XBox version on my 360. Some say it works, some say no. We'll see.

The XBox controller is not the optimum way to play that game whatsoever. PS2 or bust.
Also, cannot echo the SSX3 love enough. Everything awesome about the original game (besides most of the surprisingly great celebrity voice acting), plus gorgeous atmosphere, a better soundtrack, and a shit ton more to do.
