Holy asshole, this is nuts.

We had a word for a clip like that back in SPANISH I: "Muy loco"

I feel bad for Bollywood. They have a legion of programmers with the tech know-how to generate fairly compellingly rendered CGI imagery, and yet their audience's expectations for action are clearly so bonkers that the final product (a fight scene where humans join to  form a giant cobra) can't help but fail due to the absurdity of the concept

That is the most amazing and/or retarded thing I have ever seen.

Editing by Anthony?! Ticket SOLD!

I am in the process of showing this to every person I have ever met.

Those nine minutes were 20 times more entertaining than both of the Transformers films combined.

D-War and Machine Girl have trained me to not get too excited about this kind of stuff, but that was still pretty amusing.

It's imaginative, I'll give it that.  We've all seen as bad or worse on SciFi, including the CGI constructs that move like the programmers have never heard of mass, gravity, or momentum.

It's Kollywood actually. It's a common misconception that all movies released in India come from the same banner. Every state in India has its own language and some of those bigger/developed states have their own film industry, each one is quite different than the other (but yes, all of them predominantly do have dance numbers)

Bollywood is the largest and most famous one in India featuring Hindi cinema from Mumbai in Maharashtra. Kollywood is the second largest film industry featuring Tamil cinema from Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Enthiran (Robot) was released across India on October 1, 2010. While people were going gaga over this movie, I was hoping that The Social Network would be here in theatres as it was released on the same day. I had to wait another two months for its release.

Though it is from another state, Enthiran like many other Tamil films was a massive hit in my current city Bangalore (in Karnataka). And I was tired of people talking and raving about this movie. Besides catching a glimpse of the promo on TV for few seconds, I haven't really bothered to see any trailers or scenes from the movie; nor do I have any intention to ever watch that CGI Crap Fest.

Forgive my ignorance of your cinema, and please know that the education you provided was fascinating! I have nothing against indian films, I've enjoyed quite a few, it's just that in this case (for ROBOT), it seems like the preference for dancing ETC seems to have bled over to robot combat, leading to improbably choreographed combat

Despite what some people are saying here about the effects, some of them look quite snazzy IMHO

Anyway hope you got to see the SOCIAL NETWORK, it's pretty good IMHO and since your nation has such great fluency with English, you should be able to enjoy Sorkin's dialog in a way that not everyone can. I often wonder, when watching a subtitled film, if I'm missing out on half the fun as the beauty of language can often make or break a given movie
