Where did this Wasikowska love train come from? Was she that impressive in Alice? I haven't watched that yet.

Nope, she's dead-eyed and awful in ALICE. She must have one Hell of a demo tape on her.

I'm sort of perplexed as to how Wasikowska is getting projects like this handed to her, but I don't think her casting is the important part here. Park Chan-wook is making another movie. Bang.

Watch her fantastic work on In Treatment and you guys will change your minds quickly in terms of if she is worth all the attention she is getting.

She didn't exactly embarrass herself in The Kids Are All Right, either. I haven't seen enough of her work to judge her potential (I won't hold Alice against her), but if the Hollywood buzz machine has decided it's her time to shine, that's fine by me.
