Oh fuck yeah. James Purefoy was born to never act in a modern movie and god love him for it. And Brain Cox! Sweet jesus.

The trailer should be on there now. My Internet kicked out as I was writing it, and though I hit publish post-embed, it clearly published some previous version that lacked it! I couldn't get on to anything but Twitter, so I had no idea it was broken. Sorry. :(

As much as I loath Mr Giamatti, I can't help but feel as if my very being is brimming over with excitment at the prospect of a Purefoy period action flick. With his iconic portrayal of Marc Antony on HBO's classic series ROME, his incandescent charisma was undeniable, and I've been waiting for him to get the right role that will allow him to clue the rest of the non ROME watching world into that fact

Hopefully this does it for him, and we'll soon be awash in a host of Purefoy star vehicles. Mr Purefoy is too incredible to languish in anonymity 

PS Any word on when Soloman Kane is coming out on DVD in the states? It feels like I've been waiting for years at this point

EDIT: BTW, ROME alum Purefoy should have been Nolan's Superman. Instead they took a cast member from "The Tudors". Oy...
