CAMERON DIAZ IS ROPED INTO A GAMBIT

I don't like Cameron Diaz. But I always give her the benefit of the doubt which means sometimes I'm surprised. She's surprisingly great in In her Shoes, and serviceable in Knight and Day.

And I have some great news for you, Elizabeth. The fantastic original film IS available on DVD from Universal's Vault series, where you can buy a DVD on demand. 

A Coen Brothers script is great, but I still don't have much faith in Diaz. Especially with wordsmiths like the Coens. She's going to have to make an extra effort to just get the language sounding decent, let alone natural and light.

Yeah, someone in the comments told me! I had checked IMDB to try and jog my memory on the details of the plot, and they were still screaming it wasn't on DVD. I didn't check Amazon.

I wish it was on Netflix though. I'd like to see it before I buy it.

Colin Firth and the Coens? This is very very relevant to my interests. This is immediately my most anticipated movie in whenever it comes out.

Everyone should check out the original, it just hit Netflix Instant.  Fun movie, not sure it needs to be remade or what the Coens bring to the table, and I think Diaz is a general minus at this point in her career (or say, the last 7 years).  Shouldn't there be a trailer by now?

Diaz: I try not to hold a grudge.. but it's hard. Her part in GONY really set me against her. If the Coens elected not to work with her, I'd not feel put out

The IMDB would have you believe it's in post-production and shot this past summer.  Has a good cast too, if IMDB is to be trusted.
