The SNES classic rises from the dead.

Man, this could be so much fun. But only if it takes the "every monster possible" approach of the games. If it's just a cash-in zombie comedy, it's not going to be worth much. Also, John Darko has the most obnoxiously self-aggrandizing IMDB page ever.

I used to love the game, but this is about 15 years too late.  Is there anything new they can bring to the table, post Shaun of the Dead/Zombieland?    My guess is that they'll tame it down and make it a kid's movie, a la Aliens in my Attic or some such.

It also reads like it was written by a chimp.

I have fond memories of playing this with friends after school and laughing at some of the absurdity on display.  If the movie maintains the tongue-in-cheek tone it could be worthwhile.

Similarly, does anyone remember a game called The Haunting where you'd play as a ghost trying to haunt a family out of a home?  I remember good times with that one as well.

Here's hoping that giant baby makes to the big scree (am i remembering it right? its been far too long); also, there's no way the trampoline fence jumping surpasses its use in Shaun of the Dead.

Ugh, after reading that guy's IMDB profile, I want his career to fail.

I loved this game as a kid, it was just so bizarre and delightfully weird(Giant babies!). They should really do a re-make of it, along with the Mutant League games.

If I remember correctly, Simon Pegg said in an interview that the trampoline gag was in homage to the game.

Wow. I now have little hope for this film. What a clown.

A pity. I definitely think there is a place for this film if they kept all the monsters. Especially the giant babies. But I can't imagine the man who wrote that bio (and there can be no doubt he wrote it himself) would be able to get enough money to make such a film or execute it with any dignity even if he did.
