Are we talking about Death Race 2000? I think people have too many fond memories of McShane in Deadwood. He looks like Barbosa 2 and that is not a compliment after Davey Jones the inclusion of Blackbeard seems practically low rent.

I wish I lived in a world where Peter Weir made 4 Master and Commander films about real people not empty spectacle adventure films starring one of the best actors of his generation playing a Keith Richards pirate in bad emo makeup with not even another simple actor remotely written well.

Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot are not good writers. These films are terrible.

Much as I love DEAD MAN'S CHEST, I'd go along with this. AWE shit the bed in a way to make even veteran nursing home employees wrinkle their nose, and I don't hold any hope out for the fourth movie. M&C was solid, and I wish we would have seen more of Crowe in a role he wanted to reprise.
