BAFTAS HAPPENED

Not bad at all. A little heavy on The King's Speech understandably, but I can't find any major misjudgements.

Deep in my fanboy heart, I always wanted Sir Christopher to receive this level of praise (and to be called Sir!) but I never expected it.  Quite moving.

Was that Gerald Butler giving Tim Burton the stink-eye?

You could say that the man doesn't have the most discerning taste in picking movie roles, but you cannot deny that he's a worthy recipient. And holy shit that voice.

Man he's aged hard in the last couple years. I guess that's what happens when you hit 88. Kind of heartbreaking to see Dracula in such a state.

Indeed. Though, really, I think it was more surprising how GOOD he looked when we was 80. Frankly he's still incredibly with it for being nearly 90 goddamn years old. How do I get some of that man's genes?

Ooooh, burn on Kubrick!  Heheheh. 

Even Burton didn't seem to believe Lee's praise of him as one of the greatest of our age.  Butler could tell!  Hence, the stink eye!
