Something about the sound design of this show (mostly the music, but the sound effects as well) always gave me the creeps.

As a 10 year old, I remember finding the new episodes produced after the hiatus in 1997 really lackluster. I wonder if I just outgrew the show by then, or if there really was a drop in quality.

I completely forgot to mention the sound and the isomorphic music (mickey mousing)! This and Doug both were crazy sounding shows.

 

Can see how a lot of it would creep you out Pat, but I always thought it just made it weird and awesome.
