I'd never heard about this project.  A 3D family film coming from Scorcese actually sounds really exciting.

While I am sure it will be great, I'm having severe doubts about it being able to properly compete with The Muppets.  Still, that's better than going up against all those December releases.

 Same here.   The Muppets will stomp all over Scorcese on that date.  I won't be surprised if Hugo moves up another week to get in that sweet spot that Harry Potter has snagged a couple times.
