No critic can destroy him.

We have a much greater chance of getting a decent flick from Rob when he is doing his own thing (House of 1000 Corpses, Devil's Rejects) than him doing a remake (Halloween 1&2).  I would much rather see him tackle more original material like Lords of Salem and Tyrannosaurus Rex..........................so kudos to him for backing out of The Blob remake.

Yep. His Halloween bullshit doesn't detract at all from how I feel about Rejects. I'm certainly going into this with an open mind.

I dunno. He's made four films, only one of which is good. And REJECTS seems to work in spite of some of Zombie's instincts rather than because of them. I'll let stelios go into this with an open mind and follow behind him if he doesn't bolt out the theatre screaming in pain - that seems like the sensible choice.

I'll go even further and say that while REJECTS is his "best" movie, I still don't like it very much.  It's extremely one-note, screechy and not as disturbing as it likes to think it is.  I think I'm pretty much done paying to see any Zombie movie in the theater.  He's the very definition of "wait for Netflix."
