Michael Caine, Demi Moore's young breasts, and Michelle Johnson's everythings.

Ah, Michelle Johnson:  textbook example of 80's babe career flameout.   Too bad her acting was so flat (unlike everything else about her).

Ah yes, I still fondly recall this film hitting me right between the legs just as I became old enough for that to mean something.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one.

I miss casual full frontal nudity in my films.

Nice pick for a 'Through The Cracks' write-up,  Nick. I remember this one fondly. Michelle Johnson and Demi Moore( pre-Brat Pack) were both totally crush worthy.

Caine has become such a venerated legend of cinema that it's easy to kind of forget that for a large chunk of his career the guy pretty much signed up for any movie that came his way, be it good, bad or 'wtf?'. I remember my earliest introductions to him being a collection of films that couldn't be more different: Rio, The Man Who Would Be King, Educating Rita, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Fourth Protocol.

It was only in my teens I went on to discover some of his more iconic films and performances that I'd missed.

With The Man Who Would Be King, Caine earned the right to coast for ten years.

Additional claim to fame: This was the last feature film directed by Stanley Donen, he of Singin' In the Rain, Bedazzled, and Two For the Road.

And oh, the forgotten "heart"throbs of the '80s. Johnson, Deborah Foreman, Betsy Russell...
