RELEASE DATE FOR STAR WARS: EPISODE 1 – THE PHANTOM MENACE 3D

Cue the prequel bitching!  Heheheheh.  Prove me wrong people!  Because if it happens, I won't be able to resist jumping in...

That said, I'll see this.  As pointless as it is, and as bad as the movie is... I have a microchip with a Lucasfilm logo on the back of my neck.  My feelings on 3D and post-conversion aside, I think this will be cool to see.  Lucas' relatively slower paced editing will make it easier to watch the 3D and I don't think the 3D will fail to deliver on a high-profile conversion like this.

If only you could post-convert flat acting into three-dimensional characters. 

People are going to see this for the Pod Race alone.

Finally, some quality movie news. I hate 3-D, but I enjoy any theatrical excursion that pisses off fanboys.

I can't wait to see Liam Neeson struggle with his dignity in three dimensions.

I can wait to see a bottle of gin in three dimensions.

Why not? Film and format deserve each other.
