Ever since my senior year in high school I've been really interested in hip-hop. Now it's mostly what I listen to(although I love all genres). Eventually this led me to make some as a hobby. So Tupacca came to be.
I formed Tupacca with my friend Zack back in 2008. Scoff at our name if you want(I agree that it's stupid, but I've grown attached to it). We recorded one e.p. with the help of our friend throughout 08 and 09 and eventually "released" it last year. Intitled Ironic Hip-Hop is Dead, it was my first foray into hip-hop.
Since then we've been mainly working on beats. Mainly because we don't have a quality microphone anymore, but I've been using this time to improve my "flow" as they say. We've made two beat tapes so far, and have a third coming out on Record Store Day. This is a track off it called "Somebody Love":
Also, we have a blog where you can download said e.p. and mixtapes for free.

I'd really like it if some of you checked it out. I want to stress that we aren't nerdcore(because that's a made up genre). Our name ends up biting us in the ass on that account. Both me and Zack are big fans of the band Ween, and we always kept there tongue-in-cheek style in mind and tried to apply it to hip-hop/rap. Also samples, non-stop samples.
