I just worry about this being another X movie where the character of Prof X gets hosed yet again.

Beast was always my favorite as a kid.

But he is just not a character that belongs on screen. I don't think there's any way to translate him that doesn't look stupid.

I feel the opposite.  I want to see more of the fantastical mutants than just a dude that has claws in his hands.  Take a look at New X-Men, gimme Rockslide, Anole, Mercury.  Someone that's not just a dude that looks normal but got laser blasts or whatever.  At least we got Azazel and Beast in the same movie.

I'm with you neoolong.  Give me the freaky physical mutants.  This looks good.

Justin Clark, I am sure, Xavier gets...Hosed, but this time It's by...Moira MacTaggert, and not the filmmakers.  It couldn't be a graphic scene, otherwise it would be...XXX-Men!

In terms of looks? Maybe. But for all X3's faults, he wasn't one. The awkwardness of him as a real character made it even better.

I loved Grammer's Beast. May be my favourite page-to-screen translation of an X-Man.
