Probably none of them, but that's what you remember so that's where I went with it.

Eh, Eva Green's cool. The rest, not so much.

Still I can't get too riled up about this either way. It's one of the few times when the name of the director practically GUARANTEES that the movie will suck.

The only thing I'm sort of curious about is the dream angle. The original novella exploits its Chinese puzzle box concept in a humorous way, the Verhoeven film is very funny as well, but it comes from a different place. My question is, post-Inception, how is this new film going to deal with the audience expectation of what is and what is not? That, I'm curious about.

Outside of that? Like I said about Jonathan Liebesman, how can someone get genuinely excited about a project, any project, spearheaded by a filmmaker who is largely viewed as being 0 for <insert number>? What, is Len Wiseman just going to magically hit it out of the park his third or fourth time out? Unlikely.

Having just seen The Box recently, a film bursting with interesting but awkwardly delivered (to put it kindly) ideas, I'd sooner see Richard Kelly on this thing. With a filmmaker like Kelly I'd at least know that there are genuine ideas on display, whether he sticks the landing or not.

P.S., I'm really sad that there hasn't been any movement on that Phillip K. Dick biopic that was supposedly going to star Paul Giamatti. I know Giamatti is a fan, and I really wanted to see what he was going to do with the role.
